Updated My system and made a difference...

Hi 2 all again... wanted to show that i made some changes to my system and this made a difference...

Note previous system:
Motherboard ---Asus Rampage II Extreme X58
Cpu --- Intel i7 920 OC (of cource) @ 4,237Ghz with watercooling only for cpu. @ 100% 68-70C
Ram --- Corsair 1600mhz
HDD --- WD Raptor 150
GPU --- Nvidia GTX285  1024Ram

New System same all except...

CPU @ 4Ghz
Nvidia 295GTX 1792ram which by the way is worst than 285 in viewport  for 3dsmax 2009 but better in 3dsmax 2010
Ram 6GB @ ~1525MHz
HDD  Intel SSD 80GB

Although the CPU and RAM are at lower speeds the same rendering At VRAY 150 SP2 x64 is some seconds faster...

Interesting results. Often times a few seconds can be within margin of error though. Did you try multiple successive tests?
One thing that would be nice is to be able to easily link to benchmark results here in the forums. I'll add that to the list for future implementation.
